Treble In Paradise A Cappella

Meet the Group

Royce Nelson Smith

Royce Nelson Smith

Royce began her performance career as a toddler tip-toeing in tap shoes, and excelled to fronting bands and opening for name acts.

She also headlined for a variety of shows on Carnival Cruise Line, and spent many hours in the studio working with top talent in Los Angeles. After being diagnosed with a “career ending vocal injury” she began what became a long road to recovery. Through that, she discovered her love for a cappella, joining Los Angeles based group The Over Tones.

When she relocated to South Florida she found there wasn’t anything like it and thus the idea for Treble In Paradise was born. She has been our fearless leader heading the charge to blaze new a cappella territory in South Florida!

Andrew Millin

Andrew Millin

Andrew is excited about his next acaventure! Having both chromesthesia and perfect pitch, he is grateful to experience music through sight and sound.

He began singing at age 10, and has sung in a cappella groups for over 10 years. He was President of The Gold Dynamic A Cappella, and due to leading them to be acquired by Somerset Hills Harmony, a not-for-profit chorus, he and the chorus were selected as a finalist for the Barbershop Harmony Society 2020 Innovator of the Year Award.

He is currently the Secretary of the Contemporary A Cappella League, a not-for-profit whose mission is to build camaraderie and resources for postgraduate a cappella groups to thrive. One of his undergraduate majors was Music (Voice), and he is a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Management Student at Florida International University, researching how to develop leaders and equip people to serve and work together in harmony (while the pun is intended, it’s true!

Brittany Sloan

Born and raised in Memphis, Brittany has been singing for as long as she can remember. She honed her soprano skills in high school chorale and jazz choir before discovering the world of barbershop in 2019.

Since then, she has competed in both chorus and quartet contests and is an avid participant in Harmony Brigade extreme quartetting events, attending at least three per year.

When she’s not ringing chords, she loves spending time by the ocean or out on the water—fitting for someone who manages a marine elevator company in South Florida! Brittany is thrilled to bring her love of harmony and performance to Treble in Paradise!

Chris Vesenka

MARIANA SIERRA

MARIANA SIERRA

Ever since she was little, has had music in her veins. Raised on Mexican rancheros and boleros along with Latin pop, she adds a little bit of spice and flair to her music whenever she sings. And with her love of musical theatre, jazz, and a Capella, she loves to be on stage performing for others.

Currently, she is working at an organization called Mind and Melody where she conducts interactive music sessions with people from all walks of life. Before that, she was the Music Director for HEARTbeats a Capella at Florida International University, where she led the group in singing student-arranged pieces together and really live out their passion for music. However, when she heard the Treble in Paradise Winter Concert back in 2025, she knew that she had found the group she wanted to be a part of! Hopefully, she can share in the gift of music with these lovely people and sing with them for many more years to come!

Alexandra Lacayo

Alexandra Lacayo

My name is Alexandra Lacayo but I go by Ali, I am originally from Illinois but moved to Miami Florida to get my Masters in Architecture which I have acquired this past spring.

I have been singing since I was little but was always shy about it until I auditioned for my first musical in Highschool. After that I joined any and every singing group I could. I was in choir, jazz choir and, show choir (Titan Fever, theyre lowkey famous I think theyve made it to nationals multiple times).

When I moved to Florida I was desperate to sing again and I found HEARTbeats A Cappella at FIU and now wanting to continue expressing myself through song even after graduating I found TIP (#so happy to be a part of this group <3 :)).

Extra info: I love dancing and competed in latin dance, Ive played sports all my life but primarily soccer (I just enjoy being active).
